Caribbean Wines & Spirits brings a taste of the Wild West to the International Culture Wine and Food Festival

Caribbean Wines & Spirits (CWS), The Bahamas’ premier wines and spirits distributor gave consumers a taste of the real Midwest with Hard Truth Distilling at the International Cultural Wine and Food Festival (ICWFF).

The annual two-day cultural bonanza featured a variety of food and beverages for consumers to enjoy. This year, CWS represented The United States of America with Hard Truth Distilling, a product of Nashville, Indiana.

In true CWS form, the company provided specialty-crafted cocktails for attendees. Patrons savored the ‘Fall Sangria’ made with Hard Truth’s Cinnamon Vodka, Minute Maid Cranberry Grape and Vihna do Fava Touriga Nacional wine and the ‘Hard Truth Lemonade’ made with Toasted Coconut Rum and the refreshing Minute Maid lemonade. Additionally, the fan-favorite Maple Bourbon Cream was served on the rocks along with mini–Cinnamon Vodka and mini–Toasted Coconut Rum bottles.

Jonathan Thronebury, Director of Marketing for Caribbean Wines & Spirits shared what inspired the beverage selection for this year’s ICWFF.

“We were excited to share a taste of Hard Truth’s Midwestern roots and the spirit of the fall season—bringing a touch of U.S. autumn to The Bahamas. The cocktail lineup showcased a blend of cozy seasonal flavors like cinnamon, maple, and cranberry alongside quintessentially Caribbean notes of coconut and citrus. The result was a celebration of the best of both worlds, perfectly reflecting the versatility of Hard Truth’s range of spirits within the CWS portfolio.” Thronebury shared

CWS brand representatives adorned cowboy hats and bright smiles all weekend long. The western flare did not end there; the company decorated the perimeter or their bar with hay, scarecrows and oak barrel cocktail tables for consumers to enjoy.

The weekend was a major success, with many customers torn between which of the two cocktails were their favorite. Although a winner could not be declared, patrons kept returning for refills.
