Caribbean Wines & Spirits Showcases Multi-Continental Wine Offerings at Annual Wine and Arts Festival
Caribbean Wines & Spirits (CWS), The Bahamas’ premier wines and spirits distributor, and lead sponsor of the 2026 Bahamas National Trust (BNT) Wine and Art festival proudly showcased its multi-continental wine portfolio by offering attendees a premium taste of the world.
CWS carefully curated wine offerings from Italy, France, New Zealand, California and Japan for the ultimate tasting experience.
Each country’s booth included CWS brand ambassadors equipped with detailed knowledge of each of their wines. Wine ambassadors also paid homage to their country through cultural attires.
Upon entering the festival, attendees were greeted with a beautiful floral arch branded by Caribbean Wines & Spirits sign, marking the central hub for CWS wines. There, people would enjoy wines from New Zealand, Italy, France and California along with a photo worthy botanic CWS hedge wall.
Japan’s booth located closer to the stage and food court, provided those sampling sake with an authentic feel of the nation’s bustling street food market industry.
The three-day festival weekend kicked off on Friday with BNT members enjoying early access to festival sips during Member’s Night. Members intimately savored the flavors of Japan, New Zealand and France ahead of the public.
Day two of the festival brought an overwhelming energy of excitement and interest from the crowd. Whether a self-proclaimed wine expert, or a novice, attendees relished in the opportunity to sip and learn at each booth.
In the afternoon, CWS treated sake lovers and speculators to a sake class hosted by Andrew Sowers, Joto Sake’s Southeast Regional Manager. Throughout the session Sowers walked guests through the origins of sake, the various sake’s CWS offers, ideal pairings and tasting notes.
Exclusive attendees enjoyed access to BNT’s Bubble Lounge, a collaborative experience between each alcohol distributor presented throughout the festival. CWS contributions included three premium products, Caposaldo Prosecco and Bouvet Rose.
Sunday, the festival’s final day, followed the same rhythm as Saturday. Many attendees returned for the final day to indulge in their favorite wines or brought friends along to try their recommendations.
While every bottle showcased offered its own exquisite taste, there were few key brands that stood out as fan favorites. Italy: Bottega Petalo Moscato and Bottega Moscato Fermo, Japan: Hou Hou Shu Sparkling Sake and Joto Junmai Nigori, California: St. Francis Sauvignon Blanc and St. Francis Cabernet Sauvignon, New Zealand: Infamous Goose Sauvignon Blanc and Sea Pearl Sauvignon Blanc and France: Domaine de Paris Rosé and Louis Jadot Chablis.
Honorable mention to The Seeker Sauvignon Blanc which was available in New Zealand for winning a Bronze Medal in the 2024 Sommeliers Choice Awards,
